Altis Kendall Square

Worst apartment I've ever had. Appliances are absolute garbage, maintenance came to replace my washer while I was traveling for work, found my apartment had been left open (with garage door wide open) for a week. Walls are paper thin, you will be hearing your neighbors' conversations, music, and other activities. Several units with multiple families and many vehicles make parking for those without a garage very difficult. Guest parking is non-existent. My neighbor consistently parks in the middle of the street, making it nearly impossible to leave my own driveway. I've contacted the complex about this four times now, still no response. Drive around the complex and you will see the perimeter of cars encircling the neighborhood on neighboring grass, that's because they could not find parking in the neighborhood. Don't be fooled by the nice clubhouse, it's only available during business hours while while most people are at work. Don't be fooled by the nice pool, usually it's closed. My Air conditioning is mounted in such a way that there is never a tight fit with the filter, so basically completely ineffective at filtering anything. Seriously considering breaking my lease and finding somewhere else. Save yourself the aggravation folks.

I want to take a few minutes to provide my review about this place. I lived in Altis for about 7 years, I have nothing than good things to says about this place. Excellent management, maintenance team, and nice community. I have to says about management, that they always try to make it right, at the same time they try to help you when you need them. Of course the complex has rules, and you need to make sure that it is the right place for you to live in order that you do not disturb neighbors, you should check if its according to your standards before you move. The management always treats you with respect and professionalism, and they prepare activities, all possible times, to make your living more exceptional while in there. Always attentive, and with a smile. The maintenance team... very fast service and very good manners, they always say Hi! if they see you passing by. Very respectful and dedicated team to do their service as soon as possible to resolve any issue you have. The community, Altis is a wonderful place to live, nice apartments, so well designed, all of them are equally beautiful. I lived in a Studio, in the Carmine (So Pretty for one bedroom apartment), and last one, the two bedroom. The only issue here, for me, the stairs, other than that, nothing wrong. I also want to mention," Parking", you will not have issues with parking here, they have plenty compared with other places; just some neighbors that randomly park in a wrong designated place, but also management takes care of that, if happens. My only concern here was the speeding for the cars in the boulevard area, you just need to check carefully before crossing the street, most of the times were from visitor. I was very happy here living in my apartment, and I truly recommend this place. You might always find something negative in a place you go, because of people that don't follow rules, but here, the whole management team work to make sure you fell comfortably fine while you are staying.

Today I received the keys of my unit and I am extremely happy and grateful for this place. Leonardo's attention and service is wonderful. He is in charge of explaining every detail of the process and he takes the time to do it without haste. My building is super clean and I really like the security that is provided there. I am really very happy that I chose Altis as my new home.

The place is nice parking is a joke they make you pay for decal and they don’t even enforce their own rules. I have to confront neighbor about parking in the spot cause they can’t even enforce their rules they told me to call security and all they can do is put a warning label. The fact they have to put it on me to do it and put me at odds with talking with a disrespectful neighbor (another issue) can’t wait to finish lease and get out.

It’s my second contract renovation at Altis, it’s been great, I move in at first during the pandemic so I couldn’t enjoy the amenities but once it was open to the public I loved it even more. The maintenance staff is friendly and helpful, Alberto goes above and beyond to makes us feel at home. Same goes for the leasing office agents: they are always willing to go the distance. Highly recommend! Thanks guys for all you do.
